Delaware Needs A National Park

Posted by Trott

Delaware is the only state in the U.S. without a National Park unit.

Lonely Planet author and 76-Second Travel Show host Robert Reid believes that this needs to change.

At his suggestion, Palace Family Steak House has produced a song addressing the subject.

No Hard Feelings, White Stripes

Posted by Trott

In early April 2007, it was announced right here in this blog that Palace Family Steak House would play at least one show that year in each of the 11 districts represented by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

A few weeks later, the White Stripes announced that their upcoming tour would take them to every province in Canada.

Although nothing was said by the usual places that would uncover the connections between events that seem merely coincidental, we knew what they were thinking. This was like the Doors ripping off the Kinksthese Kinks.

I was reminded of all that last night while watching the documentary about the White Stripes tour, Under Great White Northern Lights. (The movie was presented at San Francisco's Roxie Theater and sponsored by BAGeL Radiothis BAGeL Radio.

I just wanted to take a moment to let Jack and Meg know:
Palace Family Steak House harbors no hard feelings.
(By the way, if you ever are playing Six Degrees Of White Stripes and need to get to Palace Family Steak House, here's how you do it.)

Snuggle Fatigue Debut Single: "Revenge Of The Headless Turkey"

Posted by Trott

"The Revenge Of The Headless Turkey" recorded by Snuggle Fatigue (Porterhouse Mukkulainen, Xam Mukkulainen, and their uncle) in November 2009 is sure to be a much sought-after rarity in the years to come, especially around Thanksgiving.

Be sure to listen closely to Porterhouse's hot licks on the piano!
